Default Feeler thread for a Briskoda Stone Henge meet

Driving past it today, seems a good place to hold a meet. The A303 is not a bad road in places, so long as there are not too many tractors and stuff blocking the way.

Trying to look for other things to do in the area other than look at big rocks stuck in the ground. So any suggestions welcome....

Saturday early to mid April??

Ideas?

If you want to do the Ancient sites Avebury ring just down the road is a lot better & you can actually walk round the stones, theres also a hill fort close by & I think theres a pub in the village but someone local could confirm that

Stone ring of Avebury

Avebury would be preferable, don't do the same night as the bikes though

Stonehenge is also bleeding expensive to get into the actual rocks and the cafe's are a rip off Not much else to do either when you get there

Is there a good pub in the area?

Accoding to the website we can get a group reduction and walk around the stones for £3.60, which is not too bad.

I doubt I will have to book the pub or anything at this time of year.

Talking Re: Feeler thread for a Briskoda Stone Henge meet

In Stonehenge - doesn't that mean we have to sacrifice a virgin?

Two main problems with the Stonehenge idea as I see it:

1- Where the heck are we going to find a virgin?
2- Waste not, want not.....

hehehehe

(Bas being naughty....)
