Just a feeler...RTTS Meet in May

If all goes to plan I should be going down to Newquay at the end of May and catching the first couple of days of the Run to the sun.

As has been discussed on MSN not long ago, why not make it a meet? The dates I'm looking at being there are Monday 22nd through to Saturday 27th. The RTTS dates are thursday or friday 26th through till monday 29th (bank holiday)

I usually stay at Hendra camp site which has really good facilities, believe me they have to be decent if I stay there! Although this year I'm planning a surprise upgrade to somewhere special.

As I say, just a feeler to see if it's a goer. What do you think?

I'll be there this year - but more likely than not as its only an hour from me, I'll be cruising on down there and back in one day.

Saturday then? Although a royal pi55-up on Friday night sounds spot on to me - Then I'd better bring my tent. Got room on your pitch, Pixi?

If all goes to plan, I wont be camping Jas. But friday night bevvies does sound good to me because we will be leaving on the saturday but as late as poss obviously.

I've got some fantastic accomodation in mind and I'm going to be in Mr P's good books for a very long time

Looks like I'm going down to Newquay on Sunday for a car club photoshoot. If anyone wants me to reconoitor (sp?) any places / pubs / campsites / etc let me know

I recommend Hendra campsite, i usually stay there but as i say not this time if all goes to plan. it has hot shower blocks, a club with good entertainment which is good as u can come back after an evening out and have a bevvie and stumble back to your tent. It has a swimming pool fun slide complex type thing, a pizza take away, you get the jist.

It's about a five minute drive from Newquay town centre on the quintrell downs road on the way in to Newquay. There is a huge Morrisons and Maccy D's for those of you who like to indulge, about a minute away. Also close to a pub and to a field where the dare devil biker always seems to be

I've got a room booked in a hotel overlooking Porth bay which should be nice.
