Just a feeler...RTTS Meet in May

Looks like I'm going down to Newquay on Sunday for a car club photoshoot. If anyone wants me to reconoitor (sp?) any places / pubs / campsites / etc let me know

I recommend Hendra campsite, i usually stay there but as i say not this time if all goes to plan. it has hot shower blocks, a club with good entertainment which is good as u can come back after an evening out and have a bevvie and stumble back to your tent. It has a swimming pool fun slide complex type thing, a pizza take away, you get the jist.

It's about a five minute drive from Newquay town centre on the quintrell downs road on the way in to Newquay. There is a huge Morrisons and Maccy D's for those of you who like to indulge, about a minute away. Also close to a pub and to a field where the dare devil biker always seems to be

They've got a website.

I've booked the time off work today, I'm so excited

I'm down in newquay a few weeks before RTTS.
I've got a room booked in a hotel overlooking Porth bay which should be nice.

Spoken to my parents to find their place is booked up for the RTTS weeked

I am not sure wether or not this is of any use, but, i have a pal who's mum runs a campsite 3 miles from newquay. If ya fancie foing into Newquay for a night out, taxis are cheep enough. The place is called Trebabrber Farm.
Prices are cheep too, its worth checking out the website

Hope this is of help to anyone thinking of comming down to cornwall for run to the sun.
Not sure on group discounts, tho , however its still cheep and facilities are not bad.

Hey guys,

I may be relatively new to this forum but since I have my new Octavia and have never been to a 'meet' I would be interested in meeting up with some fellow Skoda enthusiasts.

I shall be down in Newquay for RTTS from Friday 26 - Monday 29th and would like to join some of you one afternoon or evening (friends and other social engagements permitting). I'll be staying in a B&B near right in the centre of town.

When we are nearer the date, perhaps those who will definitely be going could fix some times and locations to meet.
