Weather is looking better for the latter half of Saturday and Sunday looks dry.

Itinerary for me is meet Will & Bex at Moto Services around 4.30pm, then under my guidance (for roadworks detouring

) we'll be heading straight down to LYKs for some food and a few bevvies.

Saturday, wake up - grab some brekkers in NQ - go up to the RTTS camp and take a look around - meet up with Mr & Mrs P perhaps for some NQ sightseeting.

Sunday - RTTS - spend the day up there.

Then drive home in the late afternoon / evening.

The show 'n shine usually takes place at a car park in town. Checkout the RTTS website for further information.

If anyone has a spar emoment, check out the blonde in the chippy at Porth right near the RTTS site

Is this the chippy / cafe on the same side of the road as Porth Beach itself? Or is it somewhere else along the porth beach road?

Because if it's the cafe I just mentioned, she wasn't there back in Feb time.

Good luck to all you people going down to Newquay this weekend - looking out the window right now it's peeing down and the garden is getting waterlogged. I would pop down and meet you but with a newborn baby less than two weeks old, there is little hope.

Hope the roadworks around the Bodmin bypass & Goss Moor don't hold you up too much!!

just to let the people who are coming down know...its foggy as fook! and its still raining!!!! theres roadworks EVERYWHERE!! traffic doesnt look too busy on the a30 its quite calm.... considering its going to be a Bnk holiday weekend.... drive safely

I am driving down as I type this and although the A30 is fairly clear (only at the junction for LIFTONDOWN) the fog is definitely here.

Can someone tell me what the arrangements are for the meets - I haven't seen any definite information.

where all off to Newquay for elevenses so look out for us
