My piccies from Jurassic Coast meet 31-08-08

Well - was a small meet, but a nice drive out.

Good company (until Will arrived

) and some good scenery to be had, even if the weather was a little inclement early on. Here's my pics

Ant and I meet in Exmouth, along with his swmbo, Hannah and the littl'un who's name escapes me now.

Aforementioned littl'un had plenty to play with in the cafe, whilst her parents and myself tucked into a healthy fry-up

First stop, Budleigh Salterton "seafront"

and some "arty" get down close to the sea to get some shots. I think I got slightly damp feet when I misjudged the wave on the 2nd shot....

The three cars down at Charmouth beach. The mongrel was feeling a little miffed at the yellow dominance...

View/s back down Chesil once we had climbed up Portland

And finally half a dozen shots that actually DID come out of the sunset as it disappeared over the horizon

Some good piccys there. Looks like the weather did pick up towards the end of the day. No piccys of the healthy fry-up though.........

Oh, and all photos were taken with a cheapo 2.1MP "fun" digital camera.

We need a Xav there really to make the best of the sunset - It was much better in the flesh than any of my photos could ever show.

Not much to add to this, always seem to take pretty much the same pictures as everyone else at meets.

haha, that sign reminds me off the one on the coastal path between seaton and beer... it reads "cliff, please take care!" and somebody has written underneath it in marker pen "when jumping off"
