| Briskodian | Re: New Forest Summer Meet (with camping option) I'm trying to sort out some wine tasting at a local vineyard and the obligatory new forest ice cream will be a stop off at some point. (Have to keep the kids and associated SWMBOs happy i guess). A bit of a random drive and I'm trying to think of a few other places to go while I'm at it. There be a reasonable bit of beach, but parking isn't the best at that time of year. The other option I am musing is a mass invasion of the area near Christchurch, but that is virtually coming out the other side of the forest.

| Re: New Forest Summer Meet (with camping option) At this rate it might run into a second day - if it goes on for two days I may scoot down for the second one, I'm busy on the 30th already though ![]() Looks like it should be a great day, hope the weather is good on the day as that should make it an even better day out

| Briskodian | Re: New Forest Summer Meet (with camping option) Beaulieu is only around the corner, so those with kids or who are camping could take advantage of the proximity and have a look over the motor museum etc there. Those interested could make a day of it before heading back on the Sunday evening perhaps? Beaulieu - The Best Day Out in England! Me, I'll probably be asleep.

| Re: New Forest Summer Meet (with camping option) Maps work well too - (even if you turn them round like women tend to )You should be able to spot a convoy of Skud drivers though, there will be a fairly large number of them in a pub carpark I would imagine on the day ![]()
