Re: New Forest Summer Meet (with camping option)

Where does the M25 come into it?

M6, M5 to J11A, A417 / A419 to Swindon M4 J15, M4 to J13, A34 to Southampton

Edit: or you could do M6, M6 toll, M42, M40, A34 all the way but I think the M42 bit is liable to be a bottleneck.

I did this exact route last Saturday from 0930 (From the A34 (Didcot) to Cheadle)

It took 3 hours, not a spot of traffic

HTH

Edit: - in reverse obviously but the right way round at 1700 and it still took 3 hours

It's only 127 miles so should be doable in a little under 2 hours with no traffic!

In a Kia?

And averaging 60 is pretty good going, and must involve quite a lot of travel at illegal speeds

It's motorway door to door so averaging 60 is a piece of cake, imvhe Travelling at mildly illegal speeds, I would guess that you could bring that down by 15-20 minutes

Starting at Wantage shaves 2 miles off the journey () so that's one heck of a fuel stop

Chris
