Re: RallyDay- Castle Combe

We've got the OK for 5 paddock parking spaces.

The tickets are £8 in advance (£10 on the day), my plan is unless stated otherwise I will purchase 1 ticket per parking space and any additional tickets will require purchasing at the event. I need definate ticket figures for Sunday (11th June) evening as I will post the form to the organisers Monday morning.

Please either post your ticket requirements here or PM me. Once we have the tickets I will supply you my address (via PM) for payment via cheque, tickets will be handed out at Morrisons on the day of the Event.

One more space to a vRS owner.... any takers???

Tickets Required:
Barney_B - 1
FlatFourBurble - 2
Jason - ?
Decron - ?

Barney,

I've got the confirmation that the Fabia vRS CAN go on the track so I'll be after some track time. I'm not sure if you will need to order that at the sametime or not.

PM me for any details.

Ahh hell to it.

Same goes for me, thanks for sorting this out.

I might not get another good chance to do the Combe and I am thinking the standard of the other drivers will be a bit better than on a normal day (No Joe Pub in his Paxo/Nova/Fiesta/240SX) which aside from being left for dead by Evo's and STI's should mean a good experiance

Re: RallyDay- Castle Combe

Decron/FlatFour you have a PM!

I'm hoping all is OK with my Fabia vRS by Rally Day, otherwise I might have to pinch one of the dealers vRS's!

It will be fine matey, with any luck most of the plonkers wont be there (done CC before and you do get a few too many have a go's in old bangers).

Just take you time and enjoy it

Re: RallyDay- Castle Combe

From previous experience it'll mainly be Scoobies, Evo's & Cossies out on track. Also from previous experience it's the Evo owners that are nutters! Powersliding around quarry, great to watch though!

Re: RallyDay- Castle Combe

Been to combe when a guy had a bright yellow Skyline............he tried to get it sideways around every bend! Really good to watch.

Even funnier was the plonker in the nova that was a few cars behide him........the song you spin me right round springs to mind

Should be a very good day out!

Re: RallyDay- Castle Combe

I have been round the track on a few occasions with a friend who had a race prep'd mini. One time springs to mind when we were at a VW action day and following a MkII Golf into the chicane after Quarry. The nutter was desperate to stay in front of the mini and ended up almost rolling the car, his missus who was his unfortunate passenger was not impressed.

JapFest was a good day out, the rolling road they had is always good for a laugh. This year some lads from London were down and kept increasing the boost on the Skyline one of them owned, they got to 466BHP before the owner bottled it! They were determined to have the highest BHP of the day, they beat the previous best by 30BHP. Made me feel rather insufficient with my 130!

Re: RallyDay- Castle Combe

The tickets have arrived!!!!

I need your opinions on meeting times, the event starts at 9am. However those who bought track time, you need to be at the circuit for 8am for the 100db noise check!

So I'm happy to meet at 7.30am in Morrisons and cruise down with Decron/FlatFour who purchased track time, Nigel can you make it for 7.30? Morrisions address is:

Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc
Cepen Park North
Chippenham
SN14 6UZ

I know some of you are traveling quite a way, so if the above time is not suitable we can make alternative arrangements for you (eg. send the tickets and you make your own way to the circuit). Please PM me if you require your ticket/track pass posting, I will only send them recorded delivery (for both our peace of mind).

Ian

Do you know where the Skud Owners club is going to be parked in the paddock? We're in C08

I think I saw the ex Octy WRC, it was very smart!
