From Cheltenham you do pass Gordano services on the M5 southbound. Get to Bristol and keep on M5 - you go over a roughly surfaced bridge over a big river, and the extra 4th inside lane goes to Gordano services.

are you on about the avonmouth bridge is it fixed yet
everytime i went to glastonbury festival it was always being repaired
and that was starting about 15 years ago i stopped going when they put a proper fence up

The Avonmouth bridge is 4 lanes open at the moment, but the surface is pretty ppor (accentuated by my car's rough suspension) I believe they're planning on resurfacing soon, which no doubt will cause travel chaos around there.... perfect.
