| Ross Clarke has his on SEAT Leon Cupra 17" wheels and says they are just fine, 18" will fit, but you would have to get the right tyres which may be a bit on the thin side, so the ride would be quite hard.

| 7.5 x 17's (ET 33) with 205/40 17 Toyo Proxes tyres lowered 35mm. Did think about going to 18's but think it will spoil what is a really good ride. Plus I think the more common 225/40 18 tyre might be a bit wide for the back arch clearance. 215/35 18 would probably be a better size but its a harsh ride, I know had them on my Astra before the Fabia 17's I think look just right. | Briskodian | I think you're right - 18"s might also make it sit too high? |

| I'm quite tempted by some Audi RS4 replica wheels, but as yet I've only seen them in 18" and I would have preferred to limit myself to 17". If someone spots some replica's in 17", let me know... ![]()

| Briskodian | I know nothing about wheels other than they are round. Would the RS4 replicas be fine on an Octy RS?

| So on a Fabia you can fit 17" wheels with no work required to the arches or suspension and still be able to go over speed bumps without the fear of destroying everthing in the wheel arches at 10 mph??? Matt |

Yep and mine is lowered 30-35mm no worries at all. But might look a bit silly on std suspension | |

| Thanks to Ross for the original photo: ![]() Obviously the perspective is slightly out though. I reckon a lowered vRS on RS4 replica's would look superb. ![]()

| Briskodian | I've dropped Craig a line for the prices on 17s and 18s for the Octavia. I also mentioned that as Ross does such sterling work on here we've started the 'Pay Rise For Ross' campaign group. ![]()
