| I think there could be an issue with clearance if they are 9x19 but you could possibly get them on if you can get a 8x19 and use 215/35/19 tires but i suppose it depends on the offset,i have just had a set of fox rs5 alloys fitted but i think they used a 7x19 rim with a 225/35/19 tyre to avoid fouling but they dont catch on full lock or when you have 4 passengers so go for it they will look sweet |

| Briskodian | The RS6 19's are 8 wide so should go straight on - I have the 18" RS6's and I luv 'em, very easy to clean too! ![]()

| It seems crazy that I could sell my old wheels and use the money to buy a set of bigger wheels and have new tyres for around the same price as a set of tyres for my 17s. Am I missing something here?

| alot of people do change the wheels for a package when it comes to changing the tyres.. i hope to use that very excuse when new tyres time comes ![]() you could try 225 45 r17 tyres though, these are alot cheaper than the 205 50 r17's fitted as standard.

If I sell my old wheels (say for £350-400) and put another £450-500 into the pot, I'd have enough for 18" wheels with new rubber! Surely I'm missing something.
