Smile 3 years old, Swissol'd, Milotec'd and Painted

Hi all,

since my car is about to turn 3 years old, thought id do a few mods to freshen up the looks.

after a year in the planning i finally got round to painting the chrome grille black to match the bodywork, removing the front badge and again replacing it with a colour coded version.
lower bonnet vents were replaced with the milotec versions to simplify the looks of the air intakes.
milotec rear deffuser was painted and fitted to the rear bumper too.

and finally, the car was swissol'd from top to bottom.

Let me know what you guys think.

I hope my Black Magic looks like that in two years' time... "

Wasn't all too charmed by Milotec's stuff but it looks good in black - especially the lower grille! I wouldn't have replaced the Skoda badge, though...

How many mice does it take to fill a sand quarry with water? And how much Stella do you have to buy them in the process?

PS car looks very shiny Kenny - mods all reasonably pleasing but have to agree with Mattijs - are you ashamed of your Skoda? Otherwise, why get rid of the badge? Can't quite understand why black paint is more fashionable than chrome but then again, I'm old .... perhaps I should be looking for a rubber bumpered MGB to replace my old fashioned (late lamented) chrome bumpered one...?

not sure on the badge either, personally think it would look better with the standard badge in place...

the rest is looking good though, cant see the rear diffuser either but i know what they look like...

the only reason i dont have the skoda badge on it is because the black one is a spare grill and had no badge, ive got the original chrome grille so i can put it back on if need be(selling it etc)

Swissol -
Black Grill -
Diffuser - (what I can see of it )
Debadged rear -

however....

Would prefer standard badge, and think the milotec lower grills look a little plain.. but that my opinion and it's not my car!

Nice!

Talking Shiny Bits..!!!

Kenny,

Ya mota is lookin sweeeeetttt! I'll have to put some of my pics up when I can. I was recently using some Meguiars Quik Clay. Man that stuff is awesome. I thought I had a brand new car when I finished.....and it smells fantastic.

I highly recommend it...might try some of their polish.

PS Quik detailing clay gets all the road crap of your paintwork and the shine it leaves......

I like it all. No problems withe the missing Skobadge on the front. Who'll see it anyway? All they'll get ta see is yer ***....
The front lower grilles might look better with a pair of driving lamps a la Fabia (The curvy ones)
