alloy wheel colours

hi everybody! ive got an 02 plate silver octavia,and am contemplating changing the colour of the wheels,was thinkin a nice anthracite?wot do you lot reckon?

A bit too far 'oop north' for me

The plates came from Dubmeister - Where performance meets style! . They don't show them on the website, but you can specify a CZ band on the order form.

Same bloke has done three sets for me now, everytime I turn up he just says "same again?"..lol

I've had anthracite on my (previous) black octy and in hindsight I wouldn't have done it.

Black on black is a bit much IMHO, needs to be a bright body colour such as red, yellow or silver.

Also some matching coloured trims look good (bumper inserts, splitters etc).

I like the wheels in your pics Mr Lummox, been thinking about what anthracite wheels would look like on a Race Blue Octy, what do you reckon? Can you get the standard alloys "anthracited" or whatever it is?

I get charged mates rates, usually about £150 inc remove and refit tyres and balance.

Err no not really not unless you fancy waiting a fair time...lol.

Tyres are removed, wheels prepped (blasted if needs be, mine usually are), repaired if applicable, primed, painted and laquered. tyres are refitted and balanced.

Usually takes him a week to get the wheels back to me.
