| Anyone recommend a car valeter in the North West? I'd like to get my car looking nice and clean and shiny for the summer, but as I have neither the tools, the patience or the skills to properly clean and polish it myself I was wondering if anyone knows a decent company in the North West that will do it for me?? I've found a place down in Telford that charge £75 for a mini valet and machine polishing which i think is what I want... Last edited by tdirob; 27-03-2007 at 16:42. Reason: grammer of a 5 year old |

| Re: Anyone recommend a car valeter in the North West? I know of a really good one that covers Wirral and charges £45 for a full valet.

| Briskodian | Re: Anyone recommend a car valeter in the North West? I live in North west South Cumbria area. Noticed when I got the car it was immaculate bodywork wise but had previously been jewel ultra finished. Regarding valeting I would rahter do this myself as i always manage to find some fault when just getting in a valeted car, however i often wonder how they manage to get into the tiniest of places like door edges and hinges etc, under bonnet type places etc. My main regret with jewel ultra is the surface swirl marks, I cannot wax/polish them out with the jewel ultra and living on the coast they are inevitable. |

| Re: Anyone recommend a car valeter in the North West? Clay will remove any remaining Jewel Ultra and then you can use whatever you like to remove or mask the swirl marks. |

| Briskodian | Re: Anyone recommend a car valeter in the North West? I do not want to remove the jewel ultra, however they did send me some of the stage 2 polish (gloss) that is said to remove the marks. However washed and dried the car yesterday and it still comes up like new. Apart from the few swirls think theyare more noiciale when it sunny anyway and to be quite honest if I remove them they will only come back next time I wash the car. Thanks anyway |
