Default Anyone used "licenseplates.tv" ?

Hey all,

Looking again into getting Czech plates, though the only place i seem to find them is:

http://www.licenseplates.tv/

Just wanted to know if anyone on the forum had used them, and if so... how were they, good service?

I'm just a little worried by them as i have sent a couple of emails regarding font, as the plate maker on the site seems to show a different font to the display one, and they never directly answered my question... bit worrying as i would be spending about £80 on them!

Any feedback from anyone would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Luke

I haven't used them, but I can definitely recommend www.germanplates.com
They emailed me a photo of my completed plates about 8 hours after I placed the order!

I can't see Czech plates on their website but it'd be worth asking.

Mine were NZ plates by the way:

Hi,

I was thinking of getting some plates from Dubmeister (none D banded) so they look foreign but not obviously German. Then get a custom surround from-

http://www.justmatz.co.uk/products_specials.html (Scroll down the page)

For the surround I was going to have 'ŠKODA AUTO, Mladá Boleslav +420 326 811 111' on the bottom, to Joe Public they look foreign! Hey presto £50 and dubmeister have a good reputation and nwxt day delivery!

This idea might be mad, I'm a bit drunk having just watched Brazil win down the pub!

My other option is to ask a girl I know from the Czech to see if she can get a family member to send me some plates over!

These are okay for showplates but will be illegal in the UK.

I can't see the point in wanting to do this.

because it looks different.
The amount of dogy plates I see doing the rounds mean the police are not too bothered. Anyway if you keep the originals with you in the boot, you can simply swap them back and say you were at a car show and forgot to replace them. You coulds get off of the £30 fine

Yes, plates and surrounds both from Germanplates. The quality is excellent IMHO.
