What kind of thing do you want to know? Regularly use their jetwashes, though I have been through the automatic ones before...

the automatic brushes have a nasty habit of inflicting lots & lots of little scracthes in places (I've got a small present from one on the boot lid)
and sometime, deep scratches straight through the colour coat to primer.... (got one of those on the roof, too! )

Don't take a black car through any sort of automatic car wash.

You will regret it later.

I'm in Birmingham and my car desperately needs washed after sitting on the open deck of a boat for 8 hours...I just don't know where to go :-\ Saw an ARC car wash around the corner from me but don't fancy getting any scratches on the car!

I haven't used an Arc Carwash since one took a chunk of lacquer of two of my wheels (a few years ago on my Audi 90)

I used to think they were really good for getting the car pretty clean....

....when the car was either already scratched to buggery or a company car.

Haven't taken my own car through one. The BP "Superwash" thing is supposedly soft on paintwork - it uses spongey foamy strands of stuff on the rollers instead of the bristly rough brushes you usually get.
http://www.bp.com.au/conveniences_st...super_wash.asp

Have to confess though, I'm not brave enough to find out if it will scratch my paintwork or not....anyone else want to try it, let me know how it goes
