Is Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection really hard work...

or is it just me?

I applied Extra Gloss Protection over the top of a coat of Blitz wax, left it to dry for 1/2 hr & had a hell of a job polishing it off.

Am I using it incorrectly? I assumed it was a sealer to go over a wax coat.

TIA.

No, it is a bugger to get off. I find that if you double over areas you have treated, then it can get a bit labour intensive. Well worth the effort though.

i found use a light coat do the whole car and then go round polising it, should take you about 20 minutes putting it on and another 20 minutes to get it off.

Thats what I do , do the whole car , then go back to the start and take it all off. As long as you dont do it in baking hot sun , it shouldnt be a problem taking it off.

PS I was advised on here to use polish 1st , then the EGP , then wax afterwards.
