b and c pillar trim set

just bought it, thinking it would be clip on jobby style things. and there stickers!! i got to take some exterior trim apart is it easy to do? i fancy doing it tomorow i dont want to pay the dealer to do it. any tips?!

I did see a guide on this before but cant remember where!
I think you have to remove the rubber waterproofing trim thingy but I really cant remember

The glue is really very very very sticky, so you only get one shot. I pencilled lines on the paintwork to make sure they went on straight.
If you get air bubbles which won't chase out, prick the vinyl with a needle and let the air out by smoothing the plastic towards the needle hole.
Leave the glue 24 hours to cure fully before washing the car. Mine have been on 2 1/2 years with no sign of them peeling off.

Could you do what they do with the vinyl stickers for rally cars etc, some warm water with washing up liquid. Spray on the area, then put the sticker on and you can work it into position by sliding it. Then remove the water with something with a flat edge and a cloth wrapped around it. The you could remove bubbles by pricking them with a needle and dry it off with a blast of a hair dryer.

Makes lining them up easier.

not sure if that would work, would be 15 quid down the drain!

I understand your worry I'd be the same, but we did it with Vinyl and I couldn't believe it still stuck. Best not try it though if unsure .

Sorry I thought they were like a sticker set ? Or are they Plastic with a sticky back ?
We put on some of these Vinyl stickers at one stage or another

Ah that brings back memories....look who was driving it that day (Andrew Nesbitt Irish Rally Driver, sound bloke).
