| Briskodian | best to do after Lifeshine Hi all I have just bought a red octavia, and it has the autoglym lifeshine package on it. any ideas what is the best thing to do to keep it clean, it came immaculate from the garage i must add (ingrams, ayr) anywho, i was thinking of not polishing (to preserve lifeshine), but waxing, bought autoglym aquawax. prob is i live in block of flats, so doing it with too many buckets/hose aint a real option, there is a jet wash nearby with bay once rinsed, should i avoid the jet wash to do an initial rinse? (even on just spray, and doing from a distance to be careful)?? any thoughts be appreciated. Thanks. |

| Skonda Fabic | Re: best to do after Lifeshine Jet wash is no problem. Take a wash mitt and bucket with you. I would apply a really good pure wax like Swissol. That should give a really exceptional shine over your Lifeshine stuff. BTW, you didnt pay for the Autoglym stuff did you?? Is your car new? |

| Briskodian | Re: best to do after Lifeshine Konserver as spelt on bottle but it is a danish product. not sure exactly but it looks and mells like brasso 2 capfulls to 2 gallons and quicly rinse car after washing. However 1 capfull to half a bucket seems enough for my car. |

| Re: best to do after Lifeshine As ChrisRs said, some of us seem to enjoy washing and waxing more than others! There is loads and loads of info on A world for detailers... (but probably more than you need). If nothing else though have a read of Polished Bliss - Car Care Advice - How to wash and dry your car safely and effectively - some valuable info that will stop you doing any harm to your paintwork.
