| Briskodian | Black Headlining - Do I change? With the inside of my Fabia looking rather dark I thought it'd be an idea to freshen it up by removing the headlining and replacing it with the standard (on other models) white trim. This would of course require the pillar trim, grab handles, light console and seat belt trim. I imagine it would also cost a fair bit but think the trade-off would give me a more airy car (if that's the word) ![]() Would I need to remove sections of the dash to get to the A pillar trim? The other question of course is would anyone with white trim (classic/elegance) like to do a swap with my VR/s black headlining trim? this would save some dosh and also give someone else a change. BTW you'd need to be a non-smoker ![]() Cheers Des I'd appreciate any thoughts. |

| If anybody even noticed at resale? I know I would not...then again I miss a lot of things. I prefer the black, then again had the white before, I would trade white carpet for black tomorrow, the headlining I prefer as black, but thats me...this is you...this might sound really silly....but get some paper and loosly gaffa it to the area above your head side etc...see how it feels. IIRC Huck got his carpet repalced for 200 inc labour so it's not going to be that much anyway....tis my plan save trying to keep white white...bring on the mud :S

| I'd be inclined to stay with the black - but in my case it would be for night driving. I've always found it best to have as dark an interior as possible at night to avoid unwanted reflections etc., but maybe that's just me (he says with his light beige headlining and beige seats )

![]() I'm going to see exactly what's involved and get some pricing, I also noticed the tweeter grilles for the front doors will also need changing, so there's a fair amount of components to swap over. | |
