Cool Booked in for pimp tints

Was thinking about getting my car tinted since i got it but the company around me is not the best.

A new company called Auto Kraft has not long opened. My friend has just had is clio done there and has done a spot on job. Went down on saturday to go through the tints. He is the only person in staffordshire who can get moonraker tinting film. Had a look through and he has a black tint 40% that is reflective and mine will be the first to be done. £200 all in. Drop it off friday afternoon and pick it up sometime over the weekend.

Will get some pics when i get it back.

Legally as long as the windscreen is clear and the driver and passenger side window let at least 30% of the light in, you are OK.

Mine is 35% front and 28% rear.

This reference in our Links is a summary of the relevant regulations concerning glazing in road vehicles. In a nutshell the windscreen must allow at least 75% of light through and the front side windows at least 70%. The rear windows can be opaque if you so wish, provided the car is fitted with 2 wing mirrors.

Looking at the tints the reflective black 40% looks darker than the charcoal 35% film.

He put a piece of both on a old window to show the two together. Look the same from inside but from outside the reflective black looked better. Even though a light tint it the reflections in the glass make it harder to see in so giving the effect of a darker tint if that makes sence.

He has also got silver into black and green into purple (more for the nova boys)
