| The Bunglebear32 questions thread ok, i am constantly trying to get my black furby as shiny as possible yet i constantly dont do a gd enuff job to satisfy myself. firstly, i know you r not supposed to polish that often, but how often exactly? i last polished it sunday with AG SRP which btw, still didnt remove or cover those swirls. if i were to buy a stronger polish, when could i next use it? secondly, if i am gonna polish or wax again, do i need to use anything special to remove the existing wax and sealant, or do i go straight on top of it? ok, thats all i can think of at the moment but i'll be back soon enough with more probably obvious questions cheers guys

| Briskodian | Re: The Bunglebear32 questions thread A world for detailers... will probably be a better place to ask more questions. I suggest: - Wash the car - Clay the car - Polish the car - Paint cleaner maybe - Sealant - A couple of coats of wax. There is no how soon can I polish, you can polish again straight away. What you have to watch out for is that the polish removes a thin layer of paint every time you use it. If you polish your car too often then the paint will be stripped off very quickly and ruin the paint. You could try something like SSR2/2.5 on your car and then a much milder polish like SSR1 or a final stage polish. Once the swirls are gone the key to keeping the car clean is not to polish it regularly, but to not put the swirls back. Have a look for tips on washing on the site above
