charge for getting a wing sprayed

I am looking to buy a replacement o/s front wing for a fabia:

Front Wing SKODA FABIA 2000-2005 on eBay, also, Skoda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-Aug-08 20:37:23 BST)

So I don’t get ripped off - how much should it cost to have it sprayed in diamond silver?

btw the wing is already primed

cheers

Re: charge for getting a wing sprayed

depends very much on where you go to get it done, where I work (manufacturer approved) we would paint the panel and blend out into the door and bonnet so, although I am not sure how much, it would not be cheap!!

A lot of smaller body shops would do it a lot cheaper though

there's no real answer to this question really...

one thing i will say is that it is far easier to spray a wind with it already fitted onto the car, but then you end up missing out on the hidden bits being sprayed, you could however do the 'hidden' bits with a spray can then fit the wing on then get it sprayed properly... it is almost impossible to fit a sprayed wing on without scratching it or damaging it

Re: charge for getting a wing sprayed

Probably. I was quoted £190 for a small dent repair and repainting a wing, but that was at an expensive, franchised bodyshop.
