| Briskodian | Re: Clay Bar The Sonus grey claybar is quite mild for a 1st timer, try and get hold of tar and glue remover and use this before the claybar, another good option is the Meguires claybar kit with lubricant. |

| Re: Clay Bar Meguiars stuff is getting more easier to get hold of these days. I use the Meguiars Quick Clay kit, which includes Quick Detailer spray for lubrication. Very easy to use.

| Re: Clay Bar 3M Clay is excellent, you get a ton of it too. I use it when detailing. I use Zymol clay on my baby at the moment though. |

| Re: Clay Bar Yes you can as long as they are the colour coded ones. Dont use it on any black vinyl/ridged type inserts.

| Re: Clay Bar I find it best to cut the bar into half, put half away and cut the other peice in half again. Wipe the lower panels with Tar remover first (saves you dragging tar around your paintwork). While claying the car keep the bodywork well lubed with detailing spray and keep one peice of clay in a cup of warm water, everytime your clay starts to feel brittle swap them over. Clay should look something like this (this was after just the drivers door) ![]() Darren |

| Re: Clay Bar I had problems at Halfrauds. I tried 3 shops, but the clay had been nicked out of every packet in every store I went to. Thieving b*()&%*£$)s. Must have cost Halfrauds hundreds! Got some in the end though, and very good results. Gets clear front lights clear again! Phil
