Clean up!

I've booked my car into an excellent service station tomorrow for a polishing job. It's been 2 YEARS since I got the car and never had the whole thing properly polished. Usually price is about AED250, but they're charging me AED350 because I've got some paint dots on my car which are really miniscule, but you can feel the rough when you run your hand over the hood But they're gonna get rid of it

I've mentioned before that I've been trying to clean my steering wheel and get back the leather look..nice matt look...it's sooo difficult! They've offered to clean my steering wheel for me for free! The whole job will take about 8 hours.

So tomorrow, in she goes. And I'll be driving the old fully-restored family car, our Honda Odyssey. My father had another one in Cyprus (called 'Shuttle' right-hand drive) which he brought down here, but couldn't get registered. So he had the engine, exhaust, suspension plus interiors (it is now like brand new inside!) removed & fitted into the old body here...oh, and the new multi-spoke-ish alloys have been fitted too...replaced the old 5-spoke ones..

The new engine only has about 25,000kms, and it's about 6 years old...very punchy for a van, and quite quick I might add (when empty)...so yeah...I know there was no poiny in saying this but I'm just in glee

I'll post pics when Jasmine's cleaned up
