Fabia Door lock pop up thingys

Thinking of changing the standard plastic door lock popup thingys for the chromed type fitted on the Fabia VRS. (Mines an 2004 comfort)
How do they come off, just unscrew? They didn't seem to want to budge when I tried.

The silver ones screw on, but they're very very tight. I think they screw on so you can adjust the height of them once in place. Not sure about the non-silver ones. I guess it's the same as the rod onto which they screw would be the same across the fabia range?

Cheers - thought as much, but I have broken bits before by twisting instead of pulling etc. and wanted to make sure.

Fitted some Milotec ones on the Fabia, I had to put some tape around the plastic ones, then used some pliers as they were very tight.

The chrome locks are around Ł7 the set from all good Skoda dealers (and some rubbish ones too!)
