What do you think,
Started with 2 bucket method, megs gold class shampoo, megs wash mitt, dried off with megs water magnet.
Next up was megs clay bar,car had never been done before so it took hours, never new black was so dirty
Then used tech wax megs to shine and hide some swirl marks(not all)thinking of getting Natty blues paste just to finish it off.
Wheels by the way have been refurbished by a company in Glasgow.
Still a novice at this but the guys at Detailing world have been great

Re: first proper wash

were you at the scottish detailing day in wishaw last month?
if you were did you see my car before it was pc'd?
i ask because skoda paint is horribble for clay "marring" when it dulls the surface slightly. this is easily cured by polishing and it'll also help your swirls.
cars looking good tho, just keep it like that for the summer.

Re: first proper wash

Unfortunately i couldn't make the Scottish Detailing Day, spent the day NOT cleaning my car! But tell me.... how did you feel after you gave the car it's "first proper wash" - was your life complete? I do agree with you, the car is looking pretty good. Perhaps you can give me some tips. My car is needing a really good clean and i just can't seem to get the mark under the drivers door lock cleaned - can you suggest something?
