| I bought T.Wax's tree sap/ insect remover from their platinum or premium range - can't remember which but its in the green bottles...superb stuff spray and wipe and job done no more flies...states that it doesnt remove polish/wax but i went over the bumper/bonnet with a new layer of Gloss Guard anyway for peace of mind

| Window cleaner does an excellent job of removing bugs, due to the ammonia IIRC. But will also take polish off so re apply afterwards.

| Simple tip!! Get a old tea towel and a bucket of very hot water. Dip tea towel in hot water and place over affect area, wait 1 minute and flies etc just fall off. Lance |

| I carry a bottle of Minuite clean in the boot, it's a soapy general cleaner [Halfrauds] it has a spray nossel and before I embark on a long trip I spray the front of the car and when I get home it's just a sponge and water, it sort of puts a film on the paint.............It seems to work |

| No...... I have just sprayed my car with a dilute car shampoo solution when the footie finished..... And just now wiped it all off bugs and all with my spare washmitt... As good as new, awaiting wash and wax tomorrow As long as you don't use too strong a solution, and your shampoo isn't too astringent it can be left overnight and will dissolve all nasty dried bugs and tar spots Honest, I'm not piised really... ![]()
