got the ooomph - just need the cup-holders

have noticed in the furby vrs manual that some models have a cup holder to one side of the stereo- another one in the rear ashtray. having given up that wonderful habit almost three years ago could do with replacing said ashtrays with the said cup-holders. can you buy the bits and pieces to do this ( cant think that VAG have a seperate interior depending on whether youre an ash-meister or a father !!) any advice?

Yes. See one of the 'sticky' posts in my Maintenance for the part number.

It's here.

thanks DGW - got to page 20 to find that it is possible - but no mention of part numbers. by page 31 was losing the will to live, have therefore resigned myself to having the info. supplied by a good samaritan - need part numbers for dash mounted cup holders(next to stereo) and rear ashtray cup holder. cheers.

6Y0 862 531 47H onyx (rhd) - £40.27

Its on the first page, and isnt the rear cupholder part of the centre console moulding? Mines there as std, nowt fancy just a round hole.
