Default New Paintwork Advice

Will be getting car back on Tuesday after she's been in paintshop getting some remedial work. Whole car will have been machine polished and hopefully should be in much better condition.
Any advice on what products to use and what steps to take to keep paintwork in as pristine condition as possible. Want to make sure I get it right from day 1

Steve

Start with a good wash technique if you dont already.

Two buckets with a grit guard is important and you need a wash mitt to go with them.

Also get a drying towel for after.

Failing that any type of wax/sealant will maintain the finish. When you pick the car back up ask what they used on it or give us a budget and myself as well as other will be happy to recommend something for you

As mattbeef says. Also when drying, use a quick detailing spray. This helps to lift any remaining dirt from the paintwork and assists in the drying process.
