Default Number Plate Badges - Opinions Please!

Just been messing around with number plate designs for a new plate and came across these badges on demonplates.com

What do you think? ?

Anyone got these already on their car?

Like the vRS one. I've seen something similar on a car but IIRC its was only red.

I've got a colour England flag above a Skoda badge on my plates.

Just so you know (and I'm not being arsey here, as my plates aren't exactly 100% within the law!), it is illegal to carry any mark on your plate other than the EU flag and a national identifier (England/Scotland/Wales flag) in a blue band. Having said that, I had a Skoda badge on mine since I bought the car, and never once got pulled for it. Now I have pressed plates with German font, and have still never been pulled.

This might sound non pc, but, officially my plates are illegal, as were my tints, but have never been pulled for either.
However my Asian mate, who borrowed my car now and again, got pulled every time he drove it.
Makes you think...

IIRC you cant have a nationality flag either.
Just the EU 'stars' and the correct abbreviation for the country of registration i.e. GB.

It is legal to have the national flag, I have a legal set with an England flag on the rear and no EU stars.

The law states:

"Optionally, number plates may display one of the following national emblems: British Union Flag with “GB”, English Flag (St George Cross) with “ENG”, Scottish Flag (St Andrew Cross) with “SCO”, Welsh Flag (red dragon on green/white field) with “Wales” and “Cymru” or Euro Flag (circle of stars) with “GB”. If the Euro/GB configuration is displayed, then the bearer vehicle need not display a separate “GB” emblem when driving within the EU."

This is why my car has a GB sticker on it.

The font is purely for show use, it's not even my proper registration number. Fair enough about the badging, I'm sure many people won't like it.

I'm pretty sure "Damo :o)" has these ones on his Octy....... I'm also pretty sure he got them from this same company..... I also got mine from this same place.... Went with the 3D carbon lettering which actually does raise up from the plate..... As for the end of the plate i went for the Union flag, GB lettering & EU stars.... Then popped a little Skoda badge in the middle of the stars to match the effect of the letters. Also had a couple of sarky comments put along the bottom of the plates.... A different one on the front to the rear as i couldn't make my mind up.

Cheers

Dave.
