Default Octy vs Pete's 53

Gave the Octy a quick going over

Wheels cleaned using acid free wheel cleaner
arches using Orange degreaser
lower panels soaked with body solvent
Foamed using ssf/hw/apc
rinse
Washed 2 bucket lambswool mitt and a strong concentration of hw
rinsed and misted with last touch and dried using mf towel
Clayed using Sonus green ultra fine and lt
waxed with Pete's 53

2nd layer to come tomorrow

Nice results and good reflections.

Did you wash it again after claying before giving it a coat of wax?

Thats a good finish PP, Never used Petes 53 but gives a nice wet looking finish to the red with good deep reflections.

Yup buffed off using the g220, also started to do a bit of swirl correction previously, but the sonus white pads I have, the velcro felt backing is pretty crap, need to get some megs ones

Easy as pie mate, really nice to work with.
Needs a couple of costs IMO but looks good and is good VFM if you want shine over endurance

I have been looking out for some to pop up on DW to try and some just has but it looks like I have missed out on it................results look good though.............

That really is very glossy indeed - the paint does indeed look in very nice condition!!

Perhaps I need something a little more exotic on top of the Colinite 476s??

Went with one coat to start with then then did another coat a couple of days after.
Ill keep an eye out as well as i think ive got next to nothing left in my pot.

If ive got a decent amount left ill give you a shout for a try

at £95 they can keep it as the zymol titanium ive got does more than i need it to and i only have that as it was given to me
