On car want to step up a stage on cleaning got a blk magic furby 18 month old & starting to show a few swirls

Too quick that mate - it's 8000rpm minimum. That'll go through your clear coat with the heat it'll generate

Apparently 6000 is the safest maximum. Have you read the threads on here about the Porter Cable ?

its still a rotary and care will need to be taken, I'd also want a paint depth gauge if working with a rotary....

AEG EXE 460, no load speed 4000-5500rpm
Porter Cable 7336SP, no load speed 2,500-6,000rpm

Is it the Oscillation rate thats to fast 8000 - 11000 ???
can't find Oscillation rate for the Porter Cable
