| Stone chips and scratches. I have a lot of stone chips on the bonnet and a couple of nasty trolley dings (just paint) on the door and rear wing. I know this has been raised a few times but which is the best DIY repair kit currently on sale, from your experiences? My local body repair shop was talking full panel resprays and monopoly money for what is really just paint chips. |

| Re: Stone chips and scratches. Quite a few members are waiting for Dr ColorChip kits which have been purchased as a Group Buy from America. Unfortunately you are too late for the current one, but I guess another one may happen some day - especially if we hear good reports from the guys that are in the first one. If you can't wait, you could always go direct, although it will cost you more. Links in the first post of the GB thread - http://briskoda.net/forums/group-buy...up-buy/111726/

| Re: Stone chips and scratches. Thanks for that Andy. Yeah I missed out again! I will keep my eye on the forum for feedback when the lads have had a chance to use the Dr Colorchip kits. Meantime I just want to mask and more importantly protect the existing chips so if anyone has experience of using one and can recommend I would be grateful to hear. There is a company on Ebay, based in Doncaster. dsgwagon selling a kit £6-99 P&P £1-50 Sounds cheap but wonder if its worth a try. |
