| Want things made chrome????? Ok guys, Im sure some one should know the answers to this one. I want to have some parts made chrome. But the parts I want chroming are plastic!!!! So no dipping or electro plating ?? So i have heard of vacume coating?? Any ideas. Oh the parts i want doing are wing mirror housings, and lower grill inserts..and main front grill where the Vrs badge sits on the black plastic. I have seen some crappy diy kits for passats and Bmw's. Cheers Tim Last edited by TIMVRS; 22-04-2004 at 15:54. |

| Try www.jhmbuttco.co.uk as they actually sell the chrome door handle covers, wing mirror covers and chrome grills (although it makes it look like a Rover). The price would be comparable to getting the plastic coated.

| Have you checked: http://www.milotec.de/english/ Lots of chrome nicknacks! I have ordered among others one of these: http://kennyscarstyling.fi/pictures/...192_pe_640.jpg from a local dealer just before Easter... and they are pushing the blame on the factory ![]()
