| I was thinking of going more the gangster pimp black or smoked wheel polished rim than the all out motorsport look (2 litre 8valves) as performance isn't going to "Oh Waddafug, I swallowed my teeth" is it. I think the standard fat 5 spoke is getting tired, then i saw a set of 4 spoke BRMs on a Rapid convertible at Stanford hall, and a set of 5 spokes on a nubeetle on the way home from work today. I put two and two and a PCD together and got 5 fat triangular spokes. |

| Yeah I know. But looking on the web for a decent studio photo of an Octy 1 in magic black wasn't easy. Either they were outdoors, angle or face on. Only one I could find was the one from the Skoda "configuration" pages. Side on it looked close enough shaped to get an idea of whether the wheels would look right. |

| That looks really good, just not keen on the tinted lights.

| They were just an afterthought. I don't know whether I want to go with the Chavvy Lexus ones (that even lexus don't use anymore). I've seen the Chrome cluster and black cluster with round lights in that look "Ok" but I'm not 10% convinced yet. What Ill probably do is, when I'm away somewhere, I'll get a decent side on shot, and rear shot and see if I can add the lights, as well as the wheels, to a proper photo of a MK1. I do quite fancy a set of stick on Carbon mirror covers as mine as chipped and scratched and I don't imagine stickon chrome plastic will last too long. |
