I recently got my windows tinted (2 weeks ago),In order to clean them is there any special cleaning solution that I need.

The Windows were tinted professionally with Film.

Thumbs down

Roberto,

The least special cleaners the better I would say. Obviously don't use abrasive materials, especially the cloth rather than the cleaner. Warm soapy water will do fine but not applied liberally. Unless you have kids with sticky fingers, I've found that they don't attract the same film as you pick up with the normal Skoda glass. I always remember way back when my old (rear-engined) Skoda was awful for filming up on the windows. Since I've had mine done in the summer, apart from an initial clean after fitting, I've never really had to give them a clean.

The people who fitted my tints gave me a bottle of cleaning fluid. I'll have a look at what it is when I get home.

I asked when mine were fitted to my Fiat and was told to use normal glass cleaner that you'd use in your house.
Was told to avoid things like Autoglym as they are abrasive.

The place where I had mine done told me to use decent kitchen roll, moistened, then dried with a piece of dry kitchen roll.

He said if there were sticky marks or anything more than light dust I should use Baby Shampoo (very weak solution).

Above all: NO AMONIA! (ie no glass cleaners that contain any amonia!)

Hope this helps
