Hi all just a suggestion thet pay pal could make buying easier without typing in card details every time

Changes are in hand for shop software, however at present we are planning to stay with Nochex facility- it is a lot easier to run admin wise than Paypal.

I believe in the new software, the details can be retained if you wish.

However be aware that there are problems with paypal et al retaining card data, as if and when your card is renewed and unless you update paypal your transactions will be severely delayed or even refused!

This happens with Freedom subs and causes a degree of hassle for all.

Cards once expired are refused by everyone, PayPal have a flagging system on the users control panel which clearly shows when your card is no longer acceptable and transactions will not complete against an expired card so the retailer should not even see an issue.

But unfortunately we do get hiccups and they are traceable to this very problem.
I get several instances a year and it then takes around 10 days for the system to clear it.
