Default Annoying time-outs

Like the "20 seconds between searches" p*sses me off when I've spelt somthing wrong and have to wait 20 seconds to search again.

And the 60 seconds for reporting posts.

You think that's annoying? I sometimes get the 'Your search has not returned anything' page when I'm not even searching for anything

its called "flood control" and unfortuantely is a necessary evil

it is one way of preventing malicious attacks, to stop script kiddies firing search requests at a site one after the other and overloading the site/server
