Freedon Briskoda email addresses?

Hi there folks.

Just something that came to me while on pug306.net.

How about e-mail addresses for freedom members?

so for example: philje123@briskoda.net

Just saw that pug306.net offer this and wondered what other people thought?

I think there was the option a while back. Not sure if it is still avaliable

i think it would be to much hassle for the owners, we tried this on another site and it became a pain in the backside especially when one member decided to use his account for spamming.

Lol... kind of had a thought that it would be a lot of work for little benefit... but was just an idea!

I suppose hotmail will just have to do for now then

Would it be possible to use google mail to host the briskoda.net email rather than on the briskoda server? You wouldn't have to worry about things like spam and extra hosting costs because google would do it all?

I also believe that windows live (hotmail) offers a similar service where you can use your own domain.

Just an idea..

We did do this a while back when it was in beta.

I'm actually going to put the mail back on google domain to facilitate other things.

This option will be returning...although only 4 or 5 people took it up. It will likly be a forwarding address though, to prevent said spam sending.

Spam is still an issue on google, people will still pretend to be you, do dkip and spf are required, but it's not working all of the time
