| Re: New Skin? you gits ![]() The old forum blended seamlessly into the lotus notes colour scheme we have at work, the font size was small and inconspicuous. Now it looks like I'll have to do some work instead ![]() |

Good to see a change, be patient with colinnd cos I know its diddly getting everything looking pucker! Have to say though page width is now too narrow, except for the menu at the top the forum itself only takes up about 80% width of my browser. Can variable width (using percentage values of 100%) please be set rather than using static pixel width? Thanks

| Re: New Skin? Nnoticed ads are gone, is that permanent? Could do with getting rid of descriptive text at top of page that tells you what forum and thread you are in IMHO..... the "path" links are sufficient I reckon

| Re: New Skin? Another thing - being picky maybe, used to easily be able to see which threads I had posted in, now it's quite difficult with a small hard to see arrow.

| Re: New Skin? *confuse a person but sussed now* I have my personal options set upside down so that Page 1 displays the latest posts rather than the earliest ones. I note when I submit a reply, the screen reverts to the page with the highest number, i.e. Page 2 on a 2-page thread, though that is the earlier page if using the "latest first" option. Mo |

Is there yet a thread for differences from the old format that people can raise - the internet gods can then say yes or no as to whether it'll change/be fixed. | |

| Re: New Skin? After using it for a while, I have the same comments on the white. The ads will return, I guess its best to consider the current skin as a work in progress. I have noticed several things dont work as mentioned earlier in the thread. I am sure Colin is bevering away in the background testing things before making them live for all to see.

| Re: New Skin? I too preferred the old one, I'm not going to comment on the things that are missing at the moment, as i assume they will reappear when Colin has time, but the colour / brightness is OTT IMO. |

| Re: New Skin? When I click on "Quick Links" and then "Today's Posts" I have several times got a "wait 20 seconds to search again" message. It's as though I'm double clicking on it and the forum software thinks I've tried to do two searches in quick succession. Even when it works OK, I get a sound from the speakers as though I've double-clicked. Anyone else had similar problems?
