| For Sale Ads (Cars and Others) As I understand it, For Sale adverts currently disappear after 30 days. I guess this is to save server space, but does it make much difference? I would guess that the For Sale ads make up only a very small percentage of the total number of threads posted on any particular day. I feel there is an argument for not deleting the ads - old ones can be useful to gauge a "market price" if someone has something to sell. Thoughts please

| Re: For Sale Ads (Cars and Others) They get moved from public space after one month since the last reply to the thread as it is assumed that a seller will keep his thread current, and if he can not be bothered to update it after one month, it probably was sold. Car ads do not yet have this 'expiry', and it may indeed be a good idea to just close those threads instead of moving them away. |

| Re: For Sale Ads (Cars and Others) I think its good that only cars / items that are still for sale are in that section. Maybe a 'Sold' area wouldn't be a bad idea? |
