It's for occasions when you would like to express sarcastic thanks to other members for foolish, or derisory posts without cluttering the site with spam. I suggest that the sarcastic thanks button should take the form of  and it should show up as in the bar at the bottom of the post.

| Re: Sarcastic Thanks Button Well, strictly speaking, there shouldn't be foolish posts in the serious areas, so the "Report bad post" button already achieves the objective doesn't it? As there's no "Thanks" button in Off Topic and it doesn't matter if we clutter that up anyway  I assume you're referring to the serious areas?Perhaps your post might serve as a reminder if you've found it appropriate to mention it in Site Issues?
