| DVD Installed Picked up a cheapy Wharfedale one in the sale at Argos, anyone know if there is a patch lead to get the multi changer back and why I can only power up after inserting the ign key, on the back I just have the two 8 pin iso connectors if that helps. |

| Re: DVD Installed You are out of luck with both points. The OEM changer will only work with VAG headunits, no one has yet in all the years on this forum found a way to make it work with anything else. The key in the ignition thing, is dictated by the way your aftermarket headunit works. The only way to get it to work without the key is to connect both 12V feeds to the always on supply, and remember to switch the HU off every time you get out of the car.

| Re: DVD Installed I thought so, thx guys, it's not a problem really, I have an MP3 player and a FM Trans unit, and for 99 quid it was a bargain, I wouldn't have wanted to pay the original 250 quid for it though. Anyone know if i need an ariel amp mod, or will just an adapter to connect the original lead to the new units recess be ok? Last edited by Supurbia; 27-12-2007 at 14:08. |

| Re: DVD Installed Ok, got the extension today, then went back for an amp wire, which made it worse so I got my 14 quid back within minutes, radio works ok, but some stations could use a boost, overall sound quality is very good for DVD, better than ave for CD and average for radio. |
