Electric Mirror "fold Back".

When I operate the switch to fold back the two rear view mirrors only the drivers mirror is working correctly.
The passenger mirror motor operates continually but mirror does not fold back.
Firstly is the motor etc within the mirror body and if so do I access it by removing the mirror glass?
If that is the case how do I stripdown the unit for access?
Many thanks.

Re: Electric Mirror "fold Back".

I don't know if the motor is within the mirror or the door but if you remove the plug underneath the bottom of the wing mirror, unclip the clip visible and then lift the wing mirro casing up you will see everything inside the wing mirror.
