could anybody please tell me why my skodas superb 1.9 classic 130 2005,engine manage light has come on.skoda handbook says.control system for exhaust gases.

It comes on when the ECU has detected a fault with the engine that affects the emissions, which can be for any one or combination of fault codes and there are hundreds of them.

The pedantic answer would be that the warning LED is now fed with a voltage.

You need to the codes read.
