Re: headlight

Bulb or whole light unit? Could be a loose or damaged mounting bracket.

Re: headlight

The headlight sometimes comes apart inside, especially if someone has been a little brutal getting a bulb in.

Re: headlight

The movable part of the inner headlamp unit pivots on ball studs and can pop off and become loose if you are a bit heavy handed when changing a bulb. It's very easy to pop it on again without any further dismantling if you study how it moves.

Re: headlight

As above the fixed pivot does have a tendancy to pop off when it's left the factory at Skoda or it could be a loose fixing point to the bodywork............

Does it look like the module (bullseye) is sat square in the bezel?

Could've been touched a tad too hard in the factory when fitting the HID inserts

More seriously, I managed to do pop one mount off when I was playing with headlights on my Octavia - also OEM HIDs.

I had my lamps delivered from one of our factories in the Czech Republic and they both arrived with the module's popped off the fixed pivot.............pushed them back on with a tool that they then sent to me the following week!!

The reason why you pop off the mounting when replacing the bulb is because your supposed to re-fit the bulbs with the lamps out of the car............
