| How to adjust the windscreen washers? Is it possible to adjust the direction of spray of a Superb’s windscreen washers? On every other car I have owned the spray nozzles have been mounted in a little ball and to adjust the spray it sufficed to put a needle down the nozzle and swivel the ball in its cradle. However, on my Superb there does not seem to be this arrangement. So how can I re-aim the sprays? |

| Re: How to adjust the windscreen washers? Most washer jets on modern cars tend to be a fixed and sealed spray unit. So you can't actually adjust them! If your spray pattern is not great, chances are the jets are probably at least partially blocked. I guess you could take them out and try soaking them to loosen any crud that might be stuck in there, and/or blow them out with an air line. The only other option is to replace them, not ideal I know, but they shouldn't break the bank. Hope that helps. |

| Briskodian | Re: How to adjust the windscreen washers? Mine are adjustable, you slide the front up or down, depending on the direction of travel you want the water spray. I bought a set of these a few years back as wanted to put them on my SEAT Leon. They cost about £3 for the pair, this was about 5 years ago though.

| Re: How to adjust the windscreen washers? As SJFISHER67 has said you can adjust the spray up and down on them by applying a little force.....as for the spread I am not too sure.

| Re: How to adjust the windscreen washers? How much are new nozzles? Not dear I dare say, and 30 seconds to fit... Personally, I wouldn't mess about with em. FWIW one of the jets on my Passat was very low down on the screen, and when I looked it had just come unclipped from its holder. Popped it back in and jobs a good 'un.
