How much Are YOU Paying for Insurance???

Would be interested to see what every one is paying for Insurance especially V6 TDI Owners.

I'll start:

Me: 25

Location: Leeds

No claims bonus: 4 Years

Car: as Sig

Drivers: Me & Wife

Overnight: garged

Endorsments/accidents declared: none

Fully comp witout bonus protection £585 with £250 Excess Footman James

Best quote I had with Protection was £641.00 with sky insurance!

I thought these were pretty good

Any one else??????????

We could compile a table at the end in a sticky thread for new and exisitng Superb owners guide to cheap insurance

Re: How much Are YOU Paying for Insurance???

becuse this is the Superb section and for Superb owners it would not be relevant to have other cars quotes

Re: How much Are YOU Paying for Insurance???

Bloody hell that is a rip off!!!

Try www.Confused.com they check loads inc direct Line and for me came back with Kwik Fit being cheapest @ £745.

and at my age insurance is still very dear so yu should be paying alot less.... it pays to shop around for a few hours

Re: How much Are YOU Paying for Insurance???

I did, as I do every year and Direct Line came out the cheapest overall for me.There were cheaper quotes with decreased benefits but as a general rule I never do cheap cheap. Its when something happens you need your insurance and I have always found DL to be excellent.

Re: How much Are YOU Paying for Insurance???

2004 1.9 Tdi Elegance
me (42) missus (39)
9 points between us (sp30)
Nottinghamshire,
Driveway
22 years NCB
Protected + legal insurance
£250 excess.

£336 with N.I.G thru Victor C. Knight (and I work in the entertainment business as a sound engineer which is expensive on insurance for some bulls**t reason))

I should have really taken a bigger excess because any damage under £500 probably wouldn't go thru my insurance anyway.

Smile Re: How much Are YOU Paying for Insurance???

I am very lucky -

Opted out of company car scheme and bought Skoda 2.5tdi elegance.

But the company scheme for insurance can be used - £150 fully comp etc per year.
I shall spend the savings on something extra but what extra does this Skoda need??

Regards

Mike
