Well mate, your ride height is how mine used to look so if you where to purchase the same kit as me then these are the likely results you will get.

Be warned though the KW's are very hard!!

You thinking of lowering yours then?
Well, it has crossed my mind, although not yet very seriously . However, ending up with too hard springs is the last I thing I want. Have to ask/read experiences from users of different brands. I believe this is quite popural subject and lots of information should be available.

Well you will get plenty of feedback on here mate.

For me the KW's are perfect and I can only compare them to the Pro Damper Kit I had fitted on my Bora previously, the KW's are much better value for money and I prefer the harder ride as I found the Eibach's a little too soft.

There are plenty of us out there mate, hate us or love us!!

I know what you mean about dodging the pot holes, seems to be so many on the roads and you get to know where you need to drive.

Completely agree about your last statement!!

Re: New Superb Ride Height - Not Quite What I Wanted!!!

What height did you get the coilovers set on when fitted at the garage?? Getting mine fitted tommorrow and not too sure where to get them to set the height. Was thinking of setting the coilovers to the heighest setting and then adjusting them myself when I get home? Not looking to go as low as yours Baker, but not sure how easy coilovers are to adjust at the roadside (or does the car have to be jacked up??) Any advice???

When the car was on the ramps and the coilovers where first fitted the front was lowered 55mm and the rear 35mm. When we put the car on the floor we couldn't get it off the ramp so we put the front up to 45mm. Since then I have removed the rear adjuster blocks and the rear is more level with the front so both are around 45mm low.

Adjusting them yourself is not easy as it's easier to adjust them when the car is lifted off the ground IMO but if you get them to set it high then you should have plenty of access to lower it as you wish.

Jacking the car is OK, the rears are fine, you can use the scissor jack or a trolley jack but I have to get someone to lift up the front end a little on mine in order to get a trolley jack under there but then this is only because of how low I have lowered it.

You will find that when you see them fitted all becomes clear.

Looking forward to seeing your ride height on the 19's mate and also how firm you reckon the ride is, make sure you post up some pics!!
